Chef's bio
PETER BAKUN,
C.C.P.
Chef Peter is a graduate of the Cambridge
School of Culinary Arts and holds a Certified Culinary Professional
designation awarded by the IACP.
In addition to providing private chef services on
Boston's North Shore, Peter cooks and teaches at Eurostoves'
Culinary Centre in Beverly, MA. Recently, Peter designed a
series of classes at Eurostoves for vegetarians, where the recipes
ensure total nutrition for vegetarian lifestyles without sacrificing
great taste.
In addition to his work at Eurostoves, Peter lends
his expertise to Tufts University
as research analyst for the USDA/Human Nutrition Research Center.
There, he is involved in various studies related to nutritional
epidemiology. Read some of Peter's work in the American
Journal of Clinical Nutrition.
A pastry chef at heart, Peter is adept at creating masterpieces
with every-day ingredients found in most kitchens. When not in the lab,
you can find him experimenting in the kitchen with all things sweet
and savory. Peter lives in Hamilton with his wife, Helena, and their
daughter Grace.
